“Beginning Spinning” 4 Tuesday mornings - 28th March, 4th, 11th & 18th April. 9:30-12:30. $125 + small materials fee. Bring your wheel or hire one. This course covers knowing & adjusting your wheel, spinning from prepared wool, learning to ply and skein up your yarn, how to prepare raw fleece and finishing your yarn.

“Beyond the Basics” A 4 week course covering using handcarders, preparation & spinning of woollen yarn, chain plying, etc. will follow the Beginners course above – enquiries welcome.
Felting Workshops with Rae Woolnough:
“Introduction to Felting” Sunday 19th March, 10-4pm. $95. More information available. Bookings essential for all workshops.
“Felt Oddity – the 3rd Dimension” – Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd April. 9:30 – 4:30. $180. Learn how to create craters, space tubes, warps and embellishment pieces. (Not for beginners)
“Nuno Felting” Saturday 6th May 9:30 – 4:30. $95. Laminating wool tops onto lightweight silk or muslin to create soft draping material for garments, scarves and wraps. Includes silk dyeing. $5 materials fee to cover dyes and resists.
Felting Group -“North-West Felters”: with Diana Booth & Susan Johnson. Meet every 4 weeks (10 – 3pm) $12 attendance fee. A sharing and learning group – bring your project along. Enquiries: email@example.com – Resuming Thursday 23rd February, 2017.
Social Spinning Group – meets fortnightly – bring your wheel and join us. (10 am till 2:30) $2 attendance fee. Resumes 2nd February 2017
